Here are some of my most asked questions.
It’s best to book your newborn session during your second trimester to ensure availability. Sessions are ideally scheduled within the first 14 days after birth when babies are sleepiest.
I have a dedicated page called ‘before your Newborn session‘
No worries! Once your baby is born, contact me to confirm the session date. I keep flexibility in my schedule to accommodate early or late arrivals.
Newborn sessions typically last 2-3 hours. This allows time for feeding, changing, and soothing to keep your baby comfortable.
You don’t need to bring anything! My studio provides all props, blankets, and outfits. However, feel free to bring any sentimental items you’d like included in the photos.
Absolutely! Parents and siblings are welcome to join the session. I will guide you with posing to create beautiful family portraits.
No, raw or unedited images are not included as part of the session. All delivered images are professionally edited to meet my artistic and quality standards. Please read my terms and conditions.
The ideal time for a maternity session is between 28-32 weeks when your baby bump is beautifully round. However, I’m happy to adjust to your schedule.
I offer a selection of gowns in my studio, or you can wear your own outfits. I’ll provide guidance on what photographs beautifully and make you feel your best.

Don’t worry—babies are unpredictable! I allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks to ensure we capture beautiful images at your baby’s pace.
Most newborn sessions focus on capturing the special bond between the baby, parents, and siblings, as these moments are deeply personal and intimate for a new family. Including extended family, such as grandparents, might shift the dynamic of the session and take the focus away from these cherished early days as a family unit. However, I understand that having grandparents present can hold great significance for some families. If this is something you’d like to include, please feel free to discuss it with me so we can make arrangements that work for everyone.
Every baby is unique, and their needs vary—some drift off to sleep effortlessly, while others may need more time, extra cuddles, or additional feeding breaks to feel comfortable. Occasionally, babies may be unsettled due to wind or colic, and that’s completely okay. With years of experience, I’ve encountered all sorts of situations and know how to adapt the session to suit your baby’s needs.
I understand that life with a newborn can be hectic, and sometimes things don’t go as planned. If you’re running late, please let me know as soon as possible so I can plan accordingly.
However, if you arrive more than 30 minutes late, we may need to reschedule the session. This ensures that we have enough time to capture beautiful, stress-free images while maintaining the quality of your experience. Rescheduling also helps prevent delays for other clients who may have sessions booked after yours. Thank you for your understanding!
It’s completely normal for toddlers to have their own ideas about how things should go, especially during a photo session! I have lots of experience working with little ones and use a mix of patience, creativity, and playfulness to keep them engaged and capture those sweet moments.
That said, please note that I don’t offer reshoots if your toddler doesn’t cooperate. To help the session go smoothly, I recommend bringing a favorite toy, snack, or comfort item to keep them happy. We’ll work together to create a relaxed, fun atmosphere where your toddler can shine in their own way.
Yes, your dog can absolutely be part of the session! Pets are often an important part of the family, and including them in a few photos can make the session extra special.
However, for the safety and comfort of everyone, dogs cannot stay in the studio for the entire session. I recommend bringing someone along who can take your dog home or for a walk after their portion of the photos is done. This way, we can focus on capturing the rest of the session without distractions while ensuring your furry friend gets the attention they need.
Don’t forget to bring their favorite treats or toy to help them feel at ease during their time in front of the camera!
The number of images you receive depends on the session package you’ve chosen. I’ll carefully select and edit the best moments to create a beautiful final gallery, ensuring you get a variety of stunning images to choose from.
If you need to reschedule or change the date or time of your session, please let me know as soon as possible. While I understand life can be unpredictable, rescheduling is subject to availability, and a new session time may incur additional fees if it falls outside of normal operating hours.
Yes, I offer a selection of high-quality prints, albums, and canvases. If you’re interested in creating a custom product with your images, please let me know, and I’d be happy to assist you in selecting the perfect options.
If you’d like to purchase additional images beyond what is included in your package, I offer extra photos at a set rate. You’ll be able to choose your favorites from the gallery, and I’ll take care of the rest.
Absolutely! If you’d like to meet me in person and get a feel for the studio before your session, I’d be happy to arrange a tour. It’s a great way to see the space, ask any questions, and feel more comfortable ahead of your session. Just let me know, and we can schedule a time that works for you. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your family!
