Hello, Mr William, thank you for visiting today.

Blues and greens and creams-such amazing colours to use with William’s session. I also used a quilt that William’s dad had made, William’s Mom embroidered, it was a nice heirloom to use during one of the set ups.

Each little one has their own unique personality that I have to work delicately with. Some babies like to be rocked, some like the gentle bum taps, William really enjoyed the Lullavibe, (a paddle for use under a bassinet mattress that vibrates.) being rocked and also the gentle massage of the forehead.

One of my most favourite things before a session, is setting up the session a couple of hours before clients arrival-I go through my many props, to select the ones I will use during the session. I have my cup of coffee, listen to music and prepare for each newborn session-it’s my happy pre newborn session routine.

I am so happy that Mom and Dad entrusted me with little Williams’ first photo session- I loved photographing this little dude.
